Device Addressing for the Pelco NION
the Pelco NION device address contains a capital S followed by the camera number, then the monitor number.
S<4-digit camera number><3-digit monitor number>
example: S0012001
Preset - After adjusting ptz to a desired view, select Configure , Set Preset Location to assign the preset a
number (1-32); enter a title for the preset (max. 19 char.), and click
Apply
.
After presets are defined, select a preset by clicking on the Preset button. Enter the desired preset number, then
click GOTO .
Pattern - This applies to cameras with PTZ features. Select the camera for which to record a pattern. Select
Configure , Record Pattern , and enter pattern number 1 or 2. Click on Record , operate the PTZ controls,
and Stop when completed.
To play back a pattern, click on Pattern , enter the desired pattern number, then use Start and Stop to control
playback.
