4.4.3 View Current Settings
The
View Current Settings
form contains the exact same information as the
HVAC Configuration
form in a
non-editable format. When you open the
View Form
, it will retrieve the settings from the NION-ENV and report
them to the screen. When viewing is completed, simply click
OK
to close the form.

4.4.4 HVAC Operation
Heating and cooling operation is based on configured setpoints for the following parameters:
•
Cooling
- setpoint to maintain temperature during cooling mode.
•
Heating
- setpoint to maintain temperature during heat mode.
•
Bandwidth
- temperature deviation allowed before heating or cooling mode is activated.
•
Post heat fan on time
- amount of time fan will run after heating mode is deactivated.
•
Post cooling fan on time
- amount of time fan will run after cooling mode is deactivated.
•
Time between heat/cool modes
- delay before cycling between heating and cooling modes.
These parameters function together in this manner:
When the measured temperature rises above the
Cooling Setpoint
plus half the
Bandwidth
, then first stage
cooling is activated.
If the temperature continues to rise at least two more degrees in the next five minutes, then second stage
cooling is activated.
Once the measured temperature reaches the
Cooling Setpoint
minus half the
Bandwidth
, then both stages
of cooling are deactivated and the fan continues to run for the
Post Cooling Fan On Time
.
Then the timer for the
Time Between Heating
and
Cooling Modes
is started.
After the timer expires, if the measured temperature is below the
Heating Setpoint
minus half the
Bandwidth
, then stage one heat is activated.
If the temperature continues to fall at least two more degrees in the next five minutes, then second stage heat is
activated.
Once the measured temperature reaches the
Heating Setpoint
plus half the
Bandwidth
, then both stages
of heat are deactivated and the fan continues to run for the
Post Heat Fan On Time
.
