Dashboard utility

Using the Dashboard utility

Introduction

The Dashboard performs a basic sanity check every 30 seconds, including a 
network level ping of the database, e-mail server, Customer Interface, Agent 
Interface, and TAPI server. It also checks the required services or processes, 
updates the event log, and checks the status of the Agent Interface and the 
External Web servers. The Dashboard monitors the network statistics generated 
from this activity and displays the results in the following window:

The Dashboard periodically performs a full update, including logging on to 
mailboxes, checking memory usage and the number of transactions, and 
checking the time synchronization, and provides a full update of the list of TAPI 
devices based on the user-defined Refresh Interval.
