Installation and configuration checklists

Ensure that there is sufficient space on the servers for the migration
to take place. Ensure that there is enough room in the Symposium
Web Center Portal Release 3.0 database to store the temporary files
created during the migration. For more information, refer to “Space
requirements for the Migration Utility” on page 374.

Stop the OAM service on the Release 4.0 Portal server.

Stop all Symposium Web Center Portal services except the SQL
services on the Release 4.0 Portal server.
