Installing the External Web Server components with JRun and IIS

Installing the Web Communications
component

Introduction

Follow the procedures in this section to install and configure the Web
Communications component. The Web Communications component enables
customers to communicate using Internet text chat, push web pages to each
other, and share forms.

Web Communications is installed on the External Web server. You must
successfully install the Customer Interface on the External Web server before
you install the Web Communications component.

This section assumes that you successfully deployed the Sample Customer
Interface with either Apache or IIS, and that you are using JRun as your servlet
engine.

You must follow the installation sequence listed the Web Communication
checklist below.
