Nortel Networks Symposium Web Center Portal

Customizing the Customer Interface

Standard 2.0

You can also modify the LOG4J.properties file to change the various parameters 
under which the logging is performed, such as the location of the output log file. 
To do this, or to override the configuration programmatically from within your 
code, consult the LOG4J documentation (http://jakarta.apache.org/log4j/docs/).

ATTENTION

If you do not configure the LOG4J as detailed, the 
Symposium Web Center Portal components still function 
normally, but no logging is provided. You must enable 
logging to receive support from Nortel Networks for any 
third-party applications using Java business objects.
