Tip
Action:
•
It is advised to
deactivate the service
link from ServiceLink -
Status from MSL server-
manager.
•
Then Clear hardware
ID from the associated
ARID on AMC.
•
Following the normal
process to replace
and refer step 4
requirements before
AMC sync.
It is always a good practice
to disable service link and
clear hardware ID before
attempting AMC sync.
Always make sure the local
route is added before any
AMC sync is attempted.
Step 6
For regular Mitel Platform
– Mxe, Cx
Tip
If this a new installation/
upgrade action
•
Make sure DNS is
programmed in ESM.
•
confirm ARID is entered
correctly in ESM or SI if
applicable.
•
confirm ARID has all the
options required.
Login to AMC account to
verify:
•
If sync fails, confirm
Hardware ID for ARID
is correct. If not, clear
hardware id from AMC
and perform a re-sync.
•
If it is partially failed
and all license option
returns with 0 in ESM or
SI after ARID was taken,
please verify if software
assurance in AMC is not
expired.
