Initial Setup
Setup Verification
1.
Confirm that IP address
of test PC is in the same
subnet of 3300.
2.
Go to DOS prompt of
PC, issue ipconfig / all
3.
Verify the gateway
address/DNS setting of
test PC is identical to
3300.
4.
In ESM, verify subnet,
gateway and DNS
setting in the system IP
properties.
Test Action
Launch a command
prompt and perform the
following action1a ping
register.mitel-amc.com1b
ping sync.mitel-amc.com
1.
If the test PC does not
have the same subnet,
gateway and DNS
settings, correct them
to meet the customer
network’s requirement.
2.
If ping test fails,
•
Verify if DNS setting
is correct.
Note
:
The ping test may fail
due to “Echo Reply”
may be blocked by
the firewall. If the
ping test fails due to
the blocking of Echo
reply by Firewall, one
should proceed with
Step 2.
•
You must verify
DNS is correct.
Note
:
The current IPs
used by AMC are
216.191.234.90 and
216.191.234.91. You
must use DNS for
connectivity. Mitel
reserves the right to
change IP address
scheme without
notification,
