9.10.3.2 DC Protection Relay Test.

This function is used for testing DC Protective Relays by using a Primary Current Injection.

Several parameters of the DC Protective Relay can be verified. To carry out the test, the DC Protective Relay’s
measuring element (e.g. a shunt) must be included in the circuit of the Primary Injection.

Depending on the configuration, the complete response chain can be verified, as well as the thresholds of the DC
Protective Relay parameters.

Select ‘DC Protection Relay Test’ in ‘Manual Mode’ menu.
