9.10.2 Auto Mode
Auto Mode is used in the following situations:
To determine the tripping threshold after repairs or adaptations to the main circuit.
To accurately measure the tripping threshold.
Auto Mode is opened by pressing ‘Auto (IEC)’ in the ‘Selection Testmode’ dialog.
The following dialog is displayed:
If the Quicktest Mode was performed, I_ref will already be set to the value measured earlier. Otherwise, specify the
expected trip level manually using ‘Set I_ref’. Small adjustments can be made using the + and - buttons.
To adjust the measurement interval, use:
K1
Starting point ‘e’ of the measurement interval, 90% to 99% of I_ref
if I_ref < 0.75 * 4,000 * (number of power units)
K2
End point ‘f’ of the measurement interval, 101% to 110% of I_ref
if I_ref < 0.75 * 4,0000 * (number of power units)
If I_ref > 75% of the maximum current capacity of the BALTO Modular, K1 and K2 are restricted.
E.g. for 5 power units K1 will always be 99% and K2 will be 101%
To start the test, press ‘Start’.
