4.2 Emergency Stop Device

The Emergency Stop Device physically breaks the circuit and disconnects the DC Current Generators from the energy
supply.

The Emergency Stop Device is located inside the Support Carriage and the operating lever is mounted on top.
Operate only using the lever.
Switch off and on is performed manually.

When the lever is switched to the ON position ‘CONNECT’, the energy supply is connected and the system can
be used normally.
To disconnect the energy supply, switch the lever to ‘DISCONNECT’.

CAUTION : Use the Emergency Stop Device only in case of an emergency. Excessive operation may cause
wear and damage to the contacts.

CAUTION : Before switching the lever back on, please consult the chapter ‘Troubleshooting’ - section
