Perform the calibration.
Add the second DC Current Generator (for a total of two connected DC Current Generators) and perform the
second calibration.
Add the third DC Current Generator (for a total of three connected DC Current Generators) and perform the
third calibration.
Repeat until all configurations have been calibrated.
Ensure the DC Current Generators are numbered so that they are always connected in the same order.
12.1.2 Precautions
Important information.
CAUTION : It is strongly advised to connect the DC Current Generators to a High-speed DC Circuit Breaker
to perform the calibration.
If no High-speed DC Circuit Breaker with a sufficiently high trip level is available, a closed circuit can be created using
the Power Flex-cables instead.
CAUTION : The tools for calibration must be removed after calibration has been completed.
Specifically:
Remove the calibration sensor from the circuit.
Remove the measurement cables from the µΩ input.
12.2 Calibration software
12.2.1 Accessing the application
The operator can access the calibration software from the launcher dialog, which appears on system start-up:
To open the calibration software, press the ‘Calibration’ button under ‘Advanced Mode’.
If the main BALTO application has already started, it must be closed to reach the launcher dialog. Please consult the
chapter ‘Operation’ - section ‘Exiting the BALTO application’.
When asked to shut down Windows, press ‘No’.
