The expected trip level of the High-speed DC Circuit Breaker can be entered here to compare it to measured test
results. The value will also be included in the report.
To enter a value, press the ‘I_ds Reference’ button and use the on-screen keyboard. Confirm the entry by pressing
‘OK’.
In order to determine the position of the High-speed DC Circuit Breaker, a current Icheck of 100 A per connected DC
Current Generator is injected before and after every test.
The test current is represented in the following graph:
If the system detects the High-speed DC Circuit Breaker in an incorrect position, the following message is displayed:
