15. Troubleshooting.
This chapter describes a number of problems that may arise during operation of the BALTO System, and how to
properly handle or mitigate them.
Furthermore, detailed descriptions of error and warning codes are provided.
15.1 Booting up the BALTO System.
Ensure that the set-up and connection instructions are followed as described in the chapter ‘Installation’.
The High-speed DC Circuit Breaker must be in the open position.
NOTE :
Depending on the frequency of system usage, it is advised to charge the system during at least a
few hours before use. When possible, charging during the entire preceding day is preferred.
15.1.1 Starting procedure.
If the starting procedure succeeds, the starting dialog will be displayed on the screen.
Problems during the starting procedure may cause other dialogs to appear on the screen, providing information
regarding the failed starting attempt.
After a successful start, the ‘Start Dialog’ is displayed as follows:
The ‘Start Dialog’ awaits the starting of the ‘TwinCAT’ runtime, and automatically starts the main BALTO software.
If the ‘TwinCAT’ runtime fails to start, the system will shut down after approximately 2 minutes.
If this occurs, please try restarting the system.
CAUTION : If start-up issues persist, please contact Megger technical assistance.
15.2 Info dialog status.
Important information regarding the system status is displayed in the ‘Info dialog’.
