4. Rotate crankshaft so that pistons 1 and 6
are at bottom dead center. Remove
connecting rod capscrews and rod bearing
caps.

5. Using a hammer handle, push piston 1 from
the cylinder bore. Remove piston 6 in the
same manner.
6. After removing pistons 1 and 6, rotate
crankshaft so that next set of pistons (2 and
5) is at bottom dead center.
7. Repeat steps 2 through 6 for removing
piston sets 2 and 5, and 3 and 4.
