Communications Tab

Select the Communications tab to display the window that lets you set up or
change the options for connecting to a remote host computer.
Select Network, Serial, or Modem from the Connection box. Below are
explanations and examples of the settings required for each type of connection.
Network Connection Settings

Select Network if you are connecting to the remote CMS through a
network. An example of standard settings for a network connection is
shown below:
Enter the following required information for this setting:

CMS Network Address—enter the name or the Internet Protocol (IP)
address of the remote host. There is no default.
●
Network Port—enter the network port that you wish to connect. The
default is 23, which is the network port reserved for Telnet.
NOTE:
Do not change these settings unless you are instructed to do so by your
Network Administrator.
