Logging into CMS

Follow these steps when logging into CMS:
1. Select the Profile menu. The Profile menu items appear:
NOTE:
If you do not have a profile created, refer to “Creating Profiles” on page
8-14 .
2. Click Open.
When you select a connection profile, a connection is initiated and a status
window appears. The status window automatically goes away when the
connection is established. If the connection is established through the
network or a dedicated serial line, you see the CMS
login:
prompt. If
the connection is established through a modem, the modem dials the
number of the remote host and then attempts to connect.
NOTE:
If you want to stop the login process, but keep Terminal running, select
Disconnect from the Connection menu. If you want to stop the login
process and close Terminal, select Exit from the Profile menu.
Once a connection has been established, log into the remote CMS host using
standard CMS login procedures.
