Using categories
To assign a category to an entry
1.
Open the Address Book, To Do List, or Memo Pad.
2.
Tap the entry you want to place in a category. Tap
Edit
(if needed).
3.
Tap
Details
.
4.
From the Category pick list, tap the category you want to assign.
5.
Tap
OK
.
Viewing lists by category
After you have assigned categories to your entries, you can easily view the entries by category.
Viewing by category is particularly useful in applications such as the Address Book where you
may have a long list of records.
To use categories in a List screen
1.
Tap to view the PDA applications screen.
2.
Open the application you want to view.
3.
Tap the pick list in the upper-right corner of the screen.
4.
Tap the category of entries you want to view. The List screen now shows only records in
that category.
5.
To return to a complete list of your entries, open the pick list in the upper-right corner of the
screen and tap
All
