Setting Connection preferences

Change the settings as necessary. Tap
beside each field and make your selection from the
pick list.

screen, edit the settings as necessary.

When you have finished, tap
OK
twice to return to the Connection Preferences screen.
To delete a connection
You can delete any configuration you have created. You cannot delete the default configurations
that are entered at the factory.
1.
On the Connection Preferences screen, tap the configuration you want to delete.
Connection to
Select PC, Modem, or Local Network.
Via
Select Cradle/Cable, Infrared, Serial, USB HotSync,
or Wireless.
Dialing
Select TouchTone or Rotary.
Volume
Select high, medium, low, or off.
Speed
Select the appropriate connection speed.
Speeds range from 1.200 bps (bits per second) to 19,200 bps.
Flow Ctl
Select Automatic, On, or Off.
Init String
If the connection requires an initial string, enter it on the lines below Init String.
