7. Air conditioner

When the engine is running, the operating mode can be switched between cooling, heating, or dehumidifying/heating
modes, or the air outlet mode can be switched between upper body, lower body, or defrost modes.

7-1 Function of each switch

(T217921-015-0E)

ON/OFF switch

This switches the air conditioner ON/OFF.

When OFF, all LCD indicators are OFF and all loads are stopped, except certain protective functions.

A/C switch

This switches the air conditioner (compressor thermostat operation)

ON/OFF.

However, operating actions vary depending on the temperature setting.

Cooling mode: A/C remains ON

A/C switch is disabled

Heating mode: A/C can be switched ON/OFF using the A/C switch

Intermediate settings: A/C remains OFF

(

A/C switch is disabled

)

Fan speed UP arrow switch

Fan speed DOWN arrow switch

These change the fan speed setting.

Temperature setting UP arrow switch

Temperature setting DOWN arrow switch

These change the temperature setting.

These change the air outlet mode setting.

The air conditioner requires periodic replacement of the refrigerant (coolant gas)

and hydraulic

oil.
