This machine is equipped with an SCR (

Selective Catalytic Reduction

)

 system for reducing the level of toxic NOx 

gases in exhaust emissions. The SCR system sprays exhaust gases with the DEF 

(

Diesel Exhaust Fluid

) to convert the 

toxic NOx gases into harmless water and nitrogen. To ensure the SCR system continues to function properly, be careful 
to monitor the DEF level regularly and replenish the specified DEF.

 Type of the DEF to use

 

 Only use the DEF in accordance with ISO 22241-1. Do not use any DEF other than the brand specified. Do not 

dilute the DEF or add any additives. Doing so could not only result in worse gas emissions, but also could cause 

the machine to fail.

 How to store the DEF

 

 Store the DEF in a sealed container kept in a well-ventilated location away from direct sunlight.

The DEF freezes at -11˚C. Expansion caused by freezing could damage the container.

 Filling the DEF tank

 

 Remove the cap and fill the tank with the specified DEF. Tightly secure the cap after filling the tank.
