19-2-12 Pick and carry operation

Strictly follow the cautionary instructions given in the operation

manual.

(2)

Attempt neither to load the crane to its full capacity nor to lift

up loads unnecessarily high. The lifting height should be kept to

such a level as the load is a short distance above the ground.

(3)

Select the "Pick and carry operation" as the outrigger status on

the ACS.

(4)

Apply the suspension level lock

(

with the suspension cylinders

set in the neutral position) and check that the suspension locked
indicator lamp comes to light. Then, drive the machine on a

level ﬁrm ground at a low speed.

(5)

Do not perform the steering operation while the suspension lock

is applied and the suspension cylinders are fully retracted.
Perform the steering operation only while the suspension level

lock is applied.

(6)

Arrange a guide at necessary points of the driving course.

(7) Remove the obstacles and the working personnel from the

driving course.

(8)

Never attempt to operate the crane during driving with an object

slung.

(9)

Driving with an object slung should be performed only on a

level ﬁrm ground at a speed of less than 2 km/h.
