USB power supply port
The USB power supply port
(
DC 5V
) can be used to recharge
portable electronic devices.
5V direct current power is available whenever the starter switch is
in the ACC or ON position.
A maximum of 1.2A of power can be supplied per port or a total of
2.4A via both ports.

The USB power supply ports can only be used to output power. They cannot be used for data
transmission or other purposes.

Only type-A USB connectors can be connected. Do not attempt to connect any other type of
connector.
・
Only use the ports for devices that require up to 1.2 A of power per port, or up to a total of 2.4
A via both ports.
Make sure the device is compatible before using the ports, such as by checking the device
instruction manual.
・
KATO will not provide warranty repairs for malfunctions/failures to devices used or for
damage or data loss.
・
Do not insert metal or other objects into the ports. Also make sure no water or other liquids get
inside the ports.
・
Beware that using the power supply for long periods without the engine running could deplete
the battery.

Entry key system
This is a theft prevention system that uses IC tags. It prevents
starting the engine with anything except the registered startup tag.
If the entry key system is activated, refer to "10. Entry key system"
for more details.
