22. Crane operation when the outriggers are used

(4) Outrigger beam retraction
1)

Check that the vertical cylinders are fully retracted, then move the selection switch to the horizontal side.

Move the extension/retraction switch to the "retraction" side to retract the outrigger beams fully.

Check that all outrigger beams are fully retracted.

After you have conﬁrmed that the outriggers are fully retracted,

insert all four stopper pins.

(6)

Stow the outrigger plates in the speciﬁed location, install the stoppers to prevent the plates from falling out, then

secure them with the quick pins.

Be careful of pinching your hands when stowing the outrigger plates.

・

Always attach the stoppers properly when stowing the outrigger plates, to prevent them from

falling out.
