22. Crane operation when the outriggers are used
3)
Press the hook stowage mode selection switch
(
green)
to set the "hook stowage mode" .
When the "hook stowage mode" is selected, the color of the hook stowage mode selection switch is changed
from green to yellow.
・
If the boom position is changed to the "boom angle of 13 degrees or higher" after setting the
"hook stowage mode", the hook stowage mode will be automatically canceled and the hook
stowage mode selection switch (
green) or (
yellow
) will go out.
・
If the hook stowage mode selection switch (
yellow
)
is pressed again, the "hook stowage
mode" is canceled and returned to
(

(3)
Slowly wind up the main hook until the mark on the main hook
stowage bracket is hidden behind the tension rod.
Then slowly wind up the auxiliary hook until the overhoisting
detector weight lightly contacts the auxiliary hook stowage
bracket.
Take care to avoid overhoisting so that the hook may not tilt to a great extent.
If the auxiliary hook is hoisted excessively until it tilts to a great extent, the auxiliary hook
stowage bracket contacts the stopper during the boom lowering operation and the machine is
damaged, or the hook stowage switch is activated for automatic stop.
Especially take great care if the hook is stowed from the boom raising position.
