6. Precautions when ﬁlling with fuel

(T218351-016-0E)

Strictly observe the following precautions when ﬁlling with fuel.

・

Do not carry any other fuel or fuel container than the fuel tank.

・

Always ﬁll with speciﬁed fuel.

If you use a non-recommended fuel, performance will be impaired and a major accident could

result.

・

Stop the engine and turn the starter switch to OFF before you start ﬁlling.

・

Do not use any type of water remover.

・

Stop the engine in a well ventilated place and check that there is nobody inside before you

start ﬁlling.

・

Do not allow any ﬁre or source of ignition nearby.

・

Take care not to spill fuel on hot areas.

If any fuel spills, wipe it up immediately.

・

As soon as you ﬁnish ﬁlling, close the ﬁller cap.
