Stereo, LCR or LCRM Bus Assignments
Groups, Auxes and Masters may be stereo, LCR or LCRM.
Note that a stereo Aux uses two mix bus DSP resources; a 4-
channel Master uses four mix bus resources; and so on.
Configuring Groups or Auxes (Smart Busses)
To create stereo, LCR or LCRM Auxes or Groups, you
must
configure a Smart Bus deployment zone (XBus). Groups and
Auxes share the same XBus zone, and the zone can be two
faders (LR), three faders (LCR) or four faders (LCRM)
depending on the widest Aux or Group. Please see Page 160
for an overview of Smart Busses and their operation.
Let’s take an example of configuring a stereo Aux.
First, define the Left and Right deployment faders as follows:

Select a component (e.g.
LEFT
) and assign it to a fader
by pressing the [
SPACE bar
].
The following pop-up window appears:

to confirm.

deployment fader and uses no DSP resource of its own:
