Chapter 12:

Advanced configuration -

Communication between the Desk,
the Local Audio rack and the Computer.

After that you have installed a new release or when you use, for

the first time, the M.A.R.S computer as a back up for Nova you

may have a system which seems to have lost the

communication between the console, Local audio Rack (DSP),

etc...

The symptoms

You can see if you are in this situation thru the following

symptoms :

Local Rack and/or Desk are red :

- The “ECLIPSE V5.0” message still defiles on the desk

vu-meters.

Touching one of the console fader or switch or coders

doesn’t affect the software or the audio.

The message “Instantiation KO” appears during the

starting of the console (at least, one I/O module has the

wrong firmware, an update is necessary).

The System Setup window

To accede to this window you must go to the menu “

Util

” and

select “

About

”.

An Innovason floating small window appears, please type on
the keyboard the password “

innova

”.
