User Defined Panel
To the left of the touch-screen is the USER DEFINED panel.
This provides six VU meters, four rotary controls and four
switches.
In future software releases these meters and controls may be
user-defined. However, in Version 1.0 they provide the following
factory-configured functions:
•
VUs 1 to 6 – Not used in release 1 of Nova.
•
LED
– turn to adjust the brightness of the LEDs across
the console.
•
LITE
– turn to adjust the brightness of the two Littlelites
which can be connected at the top of the console.
•
ID
- turn to adjust the brightness of the Fader and Smart
Panel colour coded IDs.
•
VU
- turn to adjust the brightness of the VU metering
across the console.
•
DESK
– press to switch the lower half of the Main Mix
display to Faders 1 to 48:
•
SMRT
- press to switch the Main Mix display to Smart
Panel controllers 1 to 48.
Note that if the “
Flip on faders if tab is active
” option is set
within the
General Preferences
window then the Smart Panel
channels are mapped down onto the 48 console faders when
SMRT
is active.

PCB
– press to open the Personal Console Builder
display.
•
PREF
– press to open the General Preferences window.
