Patching Smart Busses

So far we have patched a mono mix bus channel directly to an
output. However, if you have Smart Busses (for stereo or LCRM
Auxes, Groups or Masters), then you will need to use Smart
Bus patching as follows:

Smart Busses are configured from the

Personal Console

Builder

, see Page 203. For details on Smart Bus operation,

please see Page 160.

Let’s take an example of patching the Left and Right component
channels of a stereo Aux to two DioCore Outputs:

Select the Output channel (e.g. AUX1).

Notice that the Aux is marked with a box above its fader. This
indicates that it is a Smart Bus VCA:
