Chapter 11: Installing a new release 
of NOVA 

INNOVASON usually provides (max. 2 releases a year) some 

new version of NOVA. Please regularly check our Web site to 

see if a new release is available (

http://www.innovason.com

).  

Release description 

 

Each release is named like following : NOVA 1.1.0. Here is a 

brief decoding of the release number : 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Installation procedure 

 

The file that you download is a zipped folder contening 4 files : 

- 

Update.bat

 is a release updater, to be used only when 

you want to update you release of NOVA with the same 
Release Number but other Progression or Debug 
number. The created files with the previous release are 
preserved.  

- 

Install. Bat

 is a release installer, ti be used when you 

want to install a new release. The created files with the 
previous release will be lost… think to make a back up 
in USB key before the new installation.  

- 

Nova.zip

 contains NOVA software. Note that you can 

use this file to install NOVA on your Lap-Top : just 
decompress the files in a folder of you Lap-Top and 
launch nova.exe from the NOVA folder. 

- 

Installation.txt

 is a procedure of installation…
