Upstream and Downstream Channels 

Ethersound is a bidirectional interface where it is possible to 
assign an Upstream or Downstream channel to each i/o 
resource.  

By default, the Nova software assigns an Upstream channel to 
the DioCore Inputs, and a Downstream channel to DioCore 
outputs. The direction of data flow is displayed within the 

DIO1 

PATCH

 grids when you make a patch. For example:
