Configuring a Stereo or LCRM Master
Unlike Groups and Auxes, you don’t have to use Smart Busses
to control a multi-channel Master.
So, if you are working with say a single stereo Master bus, then
the simplest method of control is to assign a fader to
MASTER
LEFT
and
MASTER RIGHT
:
Alternatively, if you want create multiple stereo or LCRM
Masters, then you will need to define a second Smart Bus
deployment zone.
In the example below, Faders 47 and 48 are deployment faders
for two stereo Masters (Faders 35 and Faders 36):
You could use Smart Bus VCAs to ‘hide’ the Master component
channels by assigning the Left and Right deployment faders to
the Smart Panel. This way you can have a single stereo Master
fader on the DESK surface.
