FUEL SYSTEM
Remove the carburetor heater [1] and ground terminal
[2].
Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
INSPECTION
Measure the resistance at the carburetor heater [1]
terminals.
If the resistance is out of specification, replace the
carburetor heater.
THERMO SWITCH INSPECTION
Remove the right side cover (page 2-2).
Remove the thermo switch from the connector boot [1].
Disconnect the thermo switch 2P connector [1].
Check for continuity between the terminals.
If thermo switch is out of specification, replace the
switch.
TORQUE: CARBURETOR HEATER:
4.9 N·m (0.5 kgf·m, 3.6 lbf·ft)
