SENSORS AND DEVICES NOT COMMUNICATING THROUGH CAN-
BUS
The following devices not communicating through CAN BUS system are or
directly connected to the ECM1 or indirectly through ECM3 that communicate
through CAN BUS their conditions.
Some of them are feed with 12V, some other with 5V, as indicated on wiring
diagrams.
1.
Load sensor: it’s an extensimeter
sensor that sends a double electric signal
to the ECM3. These signals are compared and transduced by ECM3 that
communicates the load measured through CAN BUS to the ECM1. The load
cell sensor must be calibrated on the machine, with its own ECM1 and
ECM3,
only the “0”
calibration is necessary and it must be done with the
basket unloaded from its support.
2.
Turret rotation proximity: it’s sensor that
, working with the slew ring
eyelet, detect when the machine is almost completely rotated and first
boom bottom part
is approaching the engine carter/lithium pack. It has a
one line normally opened (NO), it opens when machine is almost completely
rotated. The electric signal enters in the ECM1.
