GROUND PART EMERGENCY MOVEMENTS
The main purpose to use a ground emergency procedure is to get the
machine into stowed position in order to be able to displace it when
necessary.
The ground emergency procedures have to carry out only after having closed
and aligned the machine.
7.3.1
TRACKS MOVEMENT WITH SAFETIES BY-PASS
WARNING:
-
The safety devices by-pass is an extremely dangerous operation and
must be carried out only by qualified personnel and only in emergency
situations.
-
The control module records date, time and all the operations carried out
during the by-pass, Hinowa personnel could analyse those data.
-
Normal conditions have to be restored as soon as emergency has been
overcome.
-
The ground safeties by-pass enables only tracks movements, for safety
reason it does not enable the outriggers movements.
EMERGENCY POTENTIAL SITUATIONS:
Breakage of an outrigger microswitch
CONDITIONS REQUIRED:
Engine and/or electric motor properly working
Electrical system properly functioning
The ground safety device by-pass can be carried out by using the safeties by-
pass key switch on the electric components compartment located under the
bonnet. Keeping turned the safeties by-pass key switch rightwards (see the
decal) the ground part safety devices for tracks are by-passed.
The safeties by-pass key must be kept turned while carefully moving the tracks
joystick from the remote control.
As soon as the safeties are by-passed the display will show the TRACK
SAFETIES BY-PASS icon for a few seconds, then the same icon will appear in
position n.7.
NOTE:
In order to fulfil this emergency operation, it’s required the by
-pass key.
