2.11 Control Lockout Does Not Function Correctly
1. The bed is plugged into the appropriate power source.

Connect a good power cord to the wall outlet (see figure 2-34 on
page 2-44).
2. The head motor actuator cable is firmly connected to its receptacle on the
control box (on top of the hilow motor actuator), and the routing to the
control lockout box shows no visible damage (see figure 2-25 on page
2-33).

Plug the cable firmly into its receptacle, or replace the damaged
cable if necessary.
3. Turn the control lockout knobs for each function to the locked position (A)
(see figure 2-31 on page 2-41). This prevents operation of those functions
(hilow, head, knee, and automatic contour), but does not prevent operation
of the unlocked functions.
