2.1 Reduced Braking Ability
Individually Operated Brakes
1. Press the brake pedal (A) (see figure 2-12 on page 2-19). The brake locks,
and the bed does not move.

2. Press the release lever (B). The applied brake is released.

3. The brake pads (C) on both brakes are not excessively worn or damaged.

Replace the worn brake pad (see “Individually Operated Brakes”
on page 4-50).
4. Both brake pedals operate smoothly up and down.
