4.7 Automatic Contour Module
Tools required: Phillips head screwdriver Diagonal cutters
Removal
1. Unplug the bed from its power source.
SHOCK HAZARD:
Unplug the bed from its power source. An electrical shock hazard
exists.
2. Remove the mattress from the bed. If a hard pan sleep surface is installed
on the bed, remove the seat pan from the seat area of the frame.
3. Disconnect the automatic contour cable (A) from the control lockout box
(see figure 4-17 on page 4-22).
NOTE:
Record the cable routing and placement of cable ties for replacement purposes.
4. Remove the attached cable ties.

5. Remove the two screws securing the cover to the automatic contour
module (A) (see figure 4-18 on page 4-23). Remove the cover.
