5. Remove the control box from the hilow motor actuator (refer to procedure 

4.11).

6. Remove the E-rings from the clevis pins (C) connecting the hilow actuator 

to the pivot connector weldment (B) and the main frame (D).

7. Remove the hilow motor actuator.

Replacement

1. Assemble in reverse order.

2. Ensure that all cables are properly connected to the control box.

3. Lubricate the hilow motor actuator rod with lithium grease.

4. Perform an operational check of the hilow, head, and knee functions. See 

“Function Checks—Electric Drive Model” on page 2-10.
