PROFILE PATH
The Profile Path displays the horizontal and lateral boundaries of the Profile View. The path is shown as a
white rectangle on the Navigation Map Pane (Figure 6-80) and is only available when Profile View is enabled.
Two white range markers appear on the inside of the Profile Path rectangle match the range markers along the
distance scale inside the Profile View Inset Window whenever the profile range is at least 4 nm (or 7.5 km if
configured for metric units).
The Profile Path rectangle may be selected on or off. In addition, the maximum map range to display the
Profile Path is selectable.
Customizing the Profile Path display on the Navigation Map Pane:
1)
From Home, touch
Map > Map Settings
.
2)
If necessary, touch the Inset Window tab.
3)
Touch the Profile
Settings
Button.
4)
Touch the
Profile Path
Button to enable/disable the display of the profile path.
5)
Touch the Profile Path range button.
6)
Scroll as needed and touch a button for the desired maximum map range for the system to display the profile
view path (above this range, the system will remove the profile view path from the map.)
7)
When finished, touch
Back
