adherence of foreign matter?
*Main parts to check
MAIN P/H FRAME ASSY, MAIN HARNESS ASSY, MCU PWB
Replace and remount
the concerned part(s).
Go to step 2.

*Engine and controller division check
Can a test print (single sheet / consecutive printing, about 10 sheets each) be performed
normally with the engine alone?
Printer controller check
(If an error still occurs
after replacing, go to
step 3.)

*MAIN P/H FRAME ASSY mounting check
Is the MAIN P/H FRAME ASSY pushed in securely.
Go to step 4
Replace the faulty
part(s).

*MAIN P/H FRAME ASSY mounting detection check
Is the detection of the MAIN P/H FRAME ASSY mounting functioning properly?
• By using the DIAG tool, check by the Digital Input Test device code “20”.
Replace the MCU PWB. Go to step 5.

*MAIN P/H FRAME ASSY power check
Is the voltage between P20-30PIN <=> P20-31PIN 5VDC?
Go to step 6. Go to FIP-2.1

*MAIN P/H FRAME ASSY mounting signal check
Is the voltage for P20-30PIN <=> P20-31PIN as follows?

With the
MAIN P/H FRAME ASSY
, 0VDC.
„
Without the
MAIN P/H FRAME ASSY
, 5VDC.
Replace the MCU PWB. Go to step 7.

*P/H HARNESS ASSY continuity check
Is there a proper continuity between J020B <=> P91?
Replace the MAIN P/H
FRAME ASSY. Replace the P/H
HARNESS ASSY.
