Replace and remount the
concerned part(s).

Go to step 2.

*WASTE TONER BOX transmission section check

Is/Are there dirt or foreign matters on the sensor transmission section on top of the WASTE
TONER BOX?

Is there abnormality such as rising of the screen inside the WASTE TONER BOX?

Replace and clean the
WASTE TONER BOX.

With tool:

Go to step 4.

Without tool:

Go to FIP-2.15

*WASTE TONER SENSOR check

Is the WASTE TONER SENSOR functioning properly?

• By using the DIAG tool, check by the Digital Input Test device code “51”.

Replace the MCU PWB.

Go to FIP-2.15
