Go to step 2.

*Engine and controller division check

Can a test print (single sheet / consecutive printing, about 10 sheets each) be performed
normally with the engine alone?

Printer controller check
(If an error still occurs
after replacing, go to
step 3.)

*Process Motor operation check

Does the Process Motor operate when test print is conducted?

Go to step 4.

Go to step 9.

*PROCESS DRIVE ASSY mounting check

Is the PROCESS DRIVE ASSY mounted securely?

Go to step 5.

Remount the PROCESS
DRIVE ASSY

*TRANSFER ASSY mounting check

Is the TRANSFER ASSY mounted securely?

Go to step 6.

Remount the TRANSFER
ASSY.

*PROCESS DRIVE ASSY check

Does the output shaft of the PROCESS DRIVE ASSY turn smoothly when the rotor of the
PROCESS DRIVE ASSY is turned by hand?

Go to step 7.

Remount the PROCESS
DRIVE ASSY.

*TR0 SENSOR mounting check

Is the TR0 SENSOR mounted securely?

With tool:
Go to step 8.

Without tool:
Go to FIP-2.23

Remount the TR0
SENSOR.

*TR0 SENSOR check

Is the TR0 SENSOR functioning properly?

• By using the DIAG tool, check by Digital Input Test device code “42”.

Replace the MCU PWB.

Go to FIP-2.23

*PROCESS DRIVE ASSY foreign matter check

Is the rotation of the PROCESS DRIVE ASSY blocked by foreign matters?

Remove the foreign
matters

With tool :
Go to step 10.

Without tool:
