Is the voltage between P17-5PIN <=> P17-3PIN 5VDC ?

Go to step 3.

Go to FIP-2.1

*CARTRIDGE detection signal power supply check

Is the voltage between P017-4PIN <=> P17-3PIN 5VDC?

Go to step 4.

Replace the MCU
PWB.

*CARTRIDGE detection signal check

Is the voltage between P/J17-4PIN <=> P/J17-3PIN as follows?

When transmitting (Cartridge),

the value is 0VDC.

When blocked (no Cartridge)

, the value is 5VDC.

Replace the MCU
PWB.

Go to step 5.

*CARTRIDGE SENSOR HARNESS continuity check

Is there a proper continuity between J87 <=> J17?

Replace the
CARTRIDGE SENSOR.
