Replace and remount
the concerned part(s).

Go to step 2.

*Engine and controller division check

Can a test print (single sheet / consecutive printing, about 10 sheets each) be performed
normally with the engine alone?

occurs after replacing,

Go to step 3.

*UNIVERSAL CASSETTE check

Can the UNIVERSAL CASSETTE be mounted smoothly?

Go to step 4.

Replace the faulty
part(s).

*BOTTOM PLATE ASSY check

Does the BOTTOM PLATE ASSY lift normally when the UNIVERSAL CASSETTE is pushed in?

• Remove the TURN IN CHUTE-3Tand check.

Go to step 5.

Replace the faulty
part(s).

*LOW PAPER SENSOR mounting check

Is the LOW PAPER SENSOR properly mounted?

Go to step 6.

Remount the LOW
PAPER SENSOR

*LOW PAPER SENSOR check

Is the LOW PAPER SENSOR functioning properly?

Go to step 7.

Go to FIP-2.4

*FEEDER PWB replacement check

Replace it with the properly functioning FEEDER PWB.

Does the problem still occurs ?

Replace the MCU
PWB.
