Usage
The
client
identifier
is
formed
by
concatenating
the
media
type
and
the
MAC
address.
For
example,
if
the
client
hardware
type
is
Ethernet
and
the
client
MAC
address
is
00:01:22:33:44:55,
then
the
client
identifier
configured
with
this
command
must
be
01:00:01:22:33:44:55.
Example
This
example
shows
how
to
configure
the
minimum
requirements
for
a
manual
binding
address
pool,
using
a
client
identifier
rather
than
the
hardware
address
of
the
client’s
hardware
platform.
