The service cover is open (see "Opening the service cover  [→ 52]").

The right cover is removed (see "Right cover  [→ 54]").

1.

Detach the scanner connector from the scanner cable and set the
scanner aside safely.

2.

Unscrew the 3 screws (A) from the device and remove the scanner
holder laterally from the device.

3.

Insert the new scanner holder and firmly screw the three screws
onto the device .
