4.3 Replacing parts (without removing covers)

Insert the monitor kinematics
1.
Attach the new uncovered kinematics (J) loosely using the 4 screws
(H, M4 X 35).
2.
Pull the uncovered kinematics toward you against the 4 screws (H,
M4 X 35) in order to remove the play.
3.
Place the rear lever arm cover temporarily on the uncovered
kinematics in order to center this above the geometry for the lever
arms.
4.
Set equal clearance to the left and right by moving the kinematics
into the long holes of the bearing pedestals.
5.
Remove the lever arm cover at the rear once again.
6.
Screw the 4 screws (H, M4 X 35) in finger tight.
7.
Carefully guide the 4 cables through the bearing flange by starting
with the largest connector.
8.
Insert the cable guard (I).

Adjust the monitor kinematics
1.
Guide the 4 monitor cables through the sleeve bearing and insert
the monitor into the acquisition unit without any cover on the
monitor holder.
