Replacing parts (whereby the removal of covers
is necessary)

4.4.1

Replace internal scanner cable

ü

The service cover is open (see "Opening the service cover  [→ 52]").

1.

Detach the scanner connector from the scanner cable and set the
scanner aside safely.

2.

Remove the front cover (see "Front cover  [→ 55]").

3.

Loosen the 2 screws (A) and remove the cable connector (B).

4.

Loosen the internal scanner cable (B) from the clips and remove it.

5.

Lay the new internal scanner cable (B) as shown and clip it into the
holders.

6.

Reinstall the front cover.

4.4.2

Completely replacing the power input

ü

The power plug is disconnected.

ü

The cover is detached (see "Removing and installing covers 
[→ 51]").

ü

The PC is removed (see "Replacing the PC including the power
supply unit  [→ 94]").
